Q1) Very high calibrate and not accurate when I transmitte to my UHF radio base to SW-111 A1) The frequency of SW-111 is 27MHz, it not for VHF UHF radio Q2) Can I plug in a SMA cable on SW-111? A2) the Antenna & TRANS connector of SW-111 is SO239, if you want to connect with a SMA cable, you need to add an adaptor Q3) Hi SW-114 can detect SWR and watt without cable? A3) No, without cable, you can only measure the electric field strength. If you want to measure SWR, you must have a cable. Q4) The Surecom 111 power meter needs more instructions. What do each of the numbers on the screen mean? I need to know if my power is 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 watts? A4) The numbers 0, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 on the display are for checking 10W of power. If you want to check 100W of power, simply multiply the numbers by 10. For example, 1=10, 2=20, 4=40 Q5) Do I need to buy a jumper cable for SW111 / SW114? A5) SW-111 / SW-114 do not include any connecting cable, therefore you need to buy it Q6) Can this be permanently left attached to the CB cable without affecting the signal? A6) We don't suggest for long-term connection, because long-term connection may cause deviations in SWR or power readings, especially under high power or high frequency environments. Regular calibration or temporary removal of the test is recommended.

MODEL: SA160 SA250 SA350 MINI1300 Read More FREQUENCY COUNTER A frequency counter is an electronic instrument, or component of one, that is used for measuring frequency. Frequency counters usually measure the number of cycles of oscillation, or pulses per second in a periodic electronic signal. Such an instrument is sometimes referred to as a cymometer. Model: SF401 SF103 Read More FIELD STRENGTH METER Field strength meter is actually a simple receiver. The RF signal is detected and fed to a microammeter, which is scaled in %. The frequency range of the tuner is usually within the terrestrial broadcasting bands. Model: SS10 SS11 Read More REPEATER CONTROLLER A repeater is an automatic radio-relay station, usually located on a mountain top, tall building, or radio tower. It allows communication between two or more bases, mobile or portable stations that are unable to communicate directly with each other due to distance or obstructions between them. FORWARD POWER MEASUREMENT 1. Set the Blue botton to the ‘POWER’ position. Set the Red botton ,‘FWD’ position. 2. Set the Radio transceiver to transmit and read the scale corresponding to the Power range selected yellow botton (10W, or 100W) REFLECTED POWER MEASUREMENT 1. Set the Blue botton switch to the ‘POWER’ position. Set the Red botton ,‘REW’ position. 2. Set the radio transceiver to transmit and read the scale orresponding to the Power range selected (10W, or 100W) VSWR MEASUREMENT Step 1 1. Set the Blue botton switch to the ‘SWR set’ position.Set the Red switch to the ‘SET SWR’ position. 2. Set the radio transceiver to transmit mode. 3. Slowly turn the CAL Control Knob clockwise until the meter point is at the ‘ CAL ’ position. This should be full scale. Step 2 Set the Red botton switch to the ‘SWR’ position while transmitting. The meter will now indicate the SWR ratio. CAUTION 1. Since the meter movement is very sensitive, avoid excessive vibration or mechanical shock to the unit. 2. The absolute maximumpower that should be applied to the meter is 100W. Also observe maximumpower inputs of 10W when unsing the lower ranges. 3. The transceiver and antenna connections to the meter must never be reversed.Always observe the correct connections to the transmitter and the antenna as 4. The meter has been carefully calibrated at the factory. Tampering with any of the internal circuitry or sensors may cause damage and will degrade the accuracy of the meter. 5. Do not expose the meter to excessive temperatures, high humidity, or strong magnetic fields. If you have related videos, please share with us, please contact us
