This heavy-duty headset meets the needs of aerial driving and motorsports in high-noise environments. Preferably also used in manufacturing plants.
The speaker's dome is made of acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), which is hard, durable, and heat-resistant. The sponge filter layer ensures a high passive noise reduction level (NRR) of 24dB, which means less background noise reaches your ears. Three thick layers of ear pads provide a seal for each of your ears in high-noise environments.
The speakers are connected via a metal frame that sits across your head. Although the speaker's sturdy material is a bit heavy, the Velcro strap-on headband you use to wear the headphones saves much of the weight and provides an adjustable, comfortable fit.
Electret microphones provide consistent and accurate transmission. It attaches to the headset via a sturdy metal frame, which helps adjust it to the perfect fit without loosening.
Here are some special features of heavy-duty headphones:
Dual PTT setup: You have a PTT, one on the left earcup and another in the middle of the wire leading to the two-way radio;
Detachable Cord: The cord leading to the radio can be replaced so the same headset can be used with a different radio (replacing a different interface cable); this listing will come with the cord for your specific model. Please email us to purchase additional wires for your headphones;
Adjustable Velcro Strap: The headband can be released and adjusted to different head sizes for comfort during long work hours;
Thoroughly tested in extreme environments: the headphones have been tested at 50 degrees Celsius and -25 degrees Celsius; it has also passed humidity tests at 95% humidity and 40 degrees Celsius.
