A25) n the circuit, at low frequencies, a short circuit is normal. However, at high frequencies, it's not a short circuit. Therefore, using a multimeter to test for a short circuit is normal. The SR629 is designed for analog radio. It is not compatible with most network or digital intercoms. This is because when an internet intercom is in standby mode after pressing the PTT button, there is no noise current, which activates the 629 switch.
